Quick answer
Corrections are the most welcome kind of message. If a code page has a cause in the wrong order, a definition that does not match the standard, or a claim that is simply wrong, say so and it gets fixed.
Send a message
Corrections, gaps in coverage and partnership enquiries all go to the same place. If you are reporting a correction, naming the specific page and the specific claim makes it far faster to act on.

- Corrections. These get read first and acted on fastest. Name the page and the claim.
- Missing codes. Tell us the code and, if you can, what the vehicle was doing when it set.
- Partnership and affiliate enquiries. Welcome, with the standing caveat that no placement is for sale.
What does not get answered
Requests to diagnose a specific vehicle. Not out of unhelpfulness, but because an honest diagnosis needs the car, and an answer given without it would be a guess dressed up as advice. The code pages, the severity guide and the scanner selector are the useful version of that help.
Common questions
Will you diagnose my car?
No, and it would be dishonest to try. Diagnosis needs the vehicle, its live data and its history, none of which arrive in an email. What the site can do is explain what a code means and the order worth checking its causes in, which is what every code page already does.
Can I suggest a code you have not covered?
Yes, and those suggestions are genuinely useful. The site covers the standardised codes people actually see rather than every code in the standard, so a gap usually means a code was not on the original list rather than that it was rejected.
Do you accept sponsored posts?
No. No brand has paid for a tier position, a top pick or inclusion anywhere on this site, and that is not a policy that is up for negotiation. Affiliate commissions are the only revenue and they are disclosed in the footer of every page.
